"Doomed by the narrative" is sexy and all but i think the narrative wanting to save a character who is utterly set on dooming themselves isnt as much of a thing and it's so good as a concept
listen im seeing tags about people agreeing that ai bots can be really inaccurate and i want to point out that this is NOT about that. the ai bot can be as accurate as you want it to be i still get mad at em.
its not about how good they do at emulating a character, its about that they aren’t a person making creative choices and i hate that. i want to enjoy my characters with other people. hold my hand and tell me all about why you think your blorbo is autistic or likes your favourite shitty band. i love you. if a bot randomly shuffles those opinions out idc if theyre even the same ones im exploding it with my mind.
What’s the point of loving content if I know there isn’t someone as obsessively fucked up as me sitting on the other side of the internet
I wonder if this part here is almost the same as the panel at the end of 388 with Touya and his family?
I think this could be a “what could have been” scenario, that Natsuo feels he should have challenged him and talked to him more about his thoughts etc
But you could also argue that, much like the Touya+Family panel, this is also what is currently happening right now. In the past, Natsuo let Touya vent to him, but now he’s challenging Dabi’s thinking
Here, unlike the flashback panel, he is involved in the conversation. In fact, it looks like he and Touya are in some sort of argument with Natsuo looking skeptical
He always wished he’d knocked some sense into Touya and now he is (or at least trying to)
And maybe the panel with them as kids in bed is a visual to show that too. That, now, Natsuo is actually involved and trying to stop what his big brother is doing
